The special curve function graphics and the common curve characteristics were analyzed. The performance in the design of ceramic patterns and decorative techniques from the free patterns and continuous patterns were analyzed by the combination of an instance of the special curve function graphics. On the basis of this theory, the application of special curve function graphics in in the design of ceramic of decorative patterns and process and the feasibility of the realization of the process were demonstrated through specific examples.
