The public＇s craving and calling for the legal society were reflected in the novels by men of letters. The exploration of the ideal society is included in the works of fairness and justice, the punishment of evil, the elimination of violence, the enforcement of law by the honest and upright officials, as well as the observance and the defense of the law. They highlighted the unique ideological value and the upholding constitution spirit in the legal novels of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties.
