SWOT analysis on bilingual teaching of Water Pollution Control Engineering

水污染控制工程是环境工程专业一门必修的骨干专业课程,开展双语教学对提高学生的专业外语能力具有非常重要的意义。运用SWOT分析法以中国矿业大学(北京)为例,对本校环境工程专业开展双语教学的优势、劣势及面临的机遇与挑战进行了分析,为相关专业及院校双语教学的良性发展提供参考。

As one of compulsory specialized courses for Environmental Engineering specialty,Water Pollution Control Engineering taught by bilingual is very important for improving the capacity of professional English.In this paper,take the China University of Mining and Technology（Beijing） as example,the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of bilingual teaching of Water Pollution Control Engineering was evaluated by SWOT analysis,which can give reference for bilingual teaching of relevant colleges.
