A Brief Discussion on Breath in Singing

歌唱者科学悦耳的声音必须建立在很好的气息运用上,歌唱者第一件事情就是学习适当的呼吸。动听的声音必须依靠正确的气息运用,声音技巧的表现同样离不开呼吸。有气才有声,有声必有气。单凭一副好嗓音,没有正确的呼吸支持是唱不出优美的歌声的。在日常的音乐教学中,我们应向学生传授几种常见的呼吸训练法。

Scientific euphony by a singer must be based on the excellent breath application, therefore, the principle task for a singer is to learn how to breathe properly. A pleasant voice cant go without proper breath application, and nor can vocal techniques .The relationship between breath and voice is reflected as follows： voice comes along with breath. Without proper breath application, one can never sing beautiful songs even if he or she has a nice voice. In our daily musical class, we should show students some common training methods of singing.
