A Comparative Study on Ideas of Moral Education and Practice between Confucius and Socrates

分别是中、西方人文精神始祖的孔子和苏格拉底都处于人类精神文明的"轴心时代",二者都将伦理道德教育作为救世济民的最高精神。由于所处地理环境、时代背景等因素的不同,二者的道德教育思想呈现出同中有异的特点。

Confucius and Socrates, both in the Axial Age of human civilization, were the ancestors of Chinese and western human istic spirit respectively. Both of them set ethics and morals as the highest standard to save people. However, due to different historical background and g,＇,,graphic environment, their moral education ideas presented the characteristic of harmony without uniformity.
