Effect of repair with swing lock clasp denture on Kennedy I dentition defect complicated by with periodontopathy: a clinical evaluation

目的 评价悬锁卡环义齿修复牙周病患者Kennedy I类牙列缺损的临床效果。 方法 我们对42例患者的51件义齿进行了两年的随访，复查时行临床检查、X线检查及咀嚼效率测定。 结果 义齿修复有效48件，占总件数的94%；无效3件，占总件数的6%。 结论 悬锁卡环义齿可以作为牙周病患者Kennedy I类牙列缺损修复的首选方案。

Objective This study aims to evaluate the clinical effect of swing lock clasp denture in repairing Kennedy I dentition defect complicated by periodontopathy. Method Fifty-one swing lock clasp dentures in 42 patients with Kennedy I dentition defect with periodontopathy were enrolled in a 2-year follow-up study, and X-ray examination and measurement of the mastication efficiency were performed. Results Forty-eight dentures (94%) proved to be effective and 3 (6%) failed to improve the oral condition. Conclusion Swing lock clasp denture can be the preferred approach to repair Kennedy I dentition defect complicated by periodontopathy.
