浅谈阿拉伯时期的科学技术成就

A Brief Discussion on Achievement of Science and Technology in the Arabia Times

中世纪,欧洲的封建社会处于愚昧和黑暗时期。随着封建制度的确立和巩固,基督教成为了西欧封建社会唯一的精神支柱,而随着西欧科学的衰落,科学逐渐为神学奴役。与此同时阿拉伯人却在吸收希腊古典和东方各国先进科学文化的过程中创造了灿烂的阿拉伯文化,创造了自己的科学文明,在阿拉伯经济的不断发展中,实用科学也得到了不断发展,为世界科学的继往开来起到了纽带作用,而且也在科学技术史上起到了承前启后、继往开来的作用,也为近代科学的产生提供了丰富的经验和理论基础,推动了世界科学文化的发展。本文主要就中世纪时期阿拉伯的科学文化成就的兴起发展以及对近代科学所产生的影响做简要的概述。

In Medieval times,European feudal society was in the period of ignorance and darkness.As the feudal system was established and consolidated,Christianity became the only spiritual prop of European feudal society,and with the decline of science in Western Europe,science gradually became the slavery of the theology.At the same time the Arabs is in the absorption of the classical and advanced science and culture from Greek and Eastern countries,and in the process of creating the splendid Arabia culture,which promoted the world＇s scientific and cultural development.This paper is mainly a brief overview on the impact of the rise of Arabia science and cultural achievements in medieval times on the development of modern science.
