General chemistry course is a professional basic course for the major in non-chemical engineering in Higher Engineering College. This paper is aimed at the general chemistry teaching content problems and made clear the necessity of penetration of modern chemical frontiers knowledge in the teaching process and elaborated some principles and methods of penetration of chemical frontiers knowledge.
