独立学院美术类专业英语教学策略探究

A Study of EFL Teaching Strategies for Fine Arts Majors in Independent Colleges

独立学院美术类专业的学生普遍存在英语基础差,不具备良好的语言学习习惯,无法自主地完成教师布置的学习任务。因而在教学实践中,需要教师具有创新意识,结合美术类专业学生的特点,探索具有针对性的、灵活多样的大学英语教学方法,尽力做到因材施教,突出美术类专业学生的特长与特点,让其最大限度地参与教学的全过程,培养语言学习的自主性、独立性和能动性。

It is always found that a comparatively large number of fine arts majors in independent colleges have a poor foundation of English, lack good English learning habits and can hardly accomplish English assignments autonomously. Therefore, EFL teachers need to innovatively explore diverse teaching methods to suit the needs of these students with specific characteristics and adopt effective and flexible approaches to motivating them to participate in English learning activities fully and helping them become autonomous English learners.
