摘要
一直以来针对英语禁忌语的研究都比较多,研究主要集中于对英语禁忌语的定义、特征、分类以及跨文化交际中的禁忌语对比,而针对于中国学生对于英语禁忌语的学习与使用情况以及学习途径的研究很少。本文针对英语禁忌语的学习与使用情况以及英语口语教材在英语禁忌语的学习中所起的作用,对英语专业的学生展开问卷调查,调查结果显示英语口语教材在学生英语禁忌语的学习方面所起的作用微乎其微,因此英语专业口语教材的改革势在必行。
English taboos have been paid much attention so far,and the research was mainly focused on their definition,characteristics,classification and the taboos in cross-cultural communication.And it is scarce that how the Chinese students learn and use English taboos.This paper presents a questionnaire which surveys the situation of the learning and usage of English Taboos and the role of the oral English textbooks in students' learning and usage of English taboos.The survey found that the oral English textbooks took scant effect on students' learning,so the reform of the oral English textbook is imperative.
