中职英语教学应重视培养学生的文化意识

Secondary Vocational English Teaching should Pay Attention to the Cultivation of Students' Cultural Awareness

中职英语教学有着自己的特色,它把文化意识作为教学的重要内容与目标。本文认为,要培养和提高学生跨文化交流的意识和能力,就应引导学生理清语言和文化的关系,了解语言的文化背景和中西方文化的差异。在教学中,贯穿对学生文化意识的培养,使学生加深对语言的了解,激发其学习兴趣,培养其自学习惯,提高其对英语的学习能力。

Vocational English teaching has its own characteristics,and cultural awareness as an important teaching content and objectives.This paper argues that to cultivate and enhance students＇ cross-cultural awareness and ability,should guide students to clarify the relationship between language and culture,the cultural background of the language and in Western culture,difference.Teaching,through the cultivation of students＇ cultural awareness so that students gain a better understanding of language,stimulate their interest in learning,develop their self-study habits,improve their ability to learn English.
