Collostruction: A Corpus-Based Analysis of Double Object Constructions

本文在构式语法框架下,采用构式联接性分析方法,研究语料库中的双宾构式。本文语料来源于WECCL2.0,采用Colligator软件提取数据(双宾构式句),将数据输入专门软件Collo.Analysis进行分析,计算出双宾动词的频数,及其与双宾构式的联接强度。研究发现:1)中国学习者和本族语使用者都对双宾构式的中心意义掌握得更好,即核心类双宾构式的使用次数明显多于边缘类双宾构式。2)学习者语言中,双宾构式的语义角色具有其特殊性。这些结论进一步揭示了中国英语学习者的中介语特征。

Analyzing the deficiency of present researches, this paper aims at studying double object constructions from the per- spective of corpus, which will make up the gaps in this field. The research results come from WECCL2.0, using Colligator which is a software to extract data and then putting those data into specific software to analyze it. We get the following results. 1 ） It indicates that we find 31 strong collexemes which are attracted by double object constructions. The strongest collexeme is ＂give＂, followed by ＂tell＂ and ＂bring＂. 2） It shows both Chinese learners and native speakers master the prototype of double object constructions much better than other double object constructions. These generalizations further reveal the interlanguage feathers of English learners in China.
