摘要
在对中国可持续发展面临的机遇与挑战分析的基础上,阐述科技创新是推进可持续发展的动力,是大学促进可持续发展的重要途径。文章着重探讨大学为可持续发展提供知识与技术支撑、基础研究理论、创新型人才和示范与经验4方面的驱动作用,并认为大学应开发具有可持续性的新技术、新知识,以更好的促进经济发展与社会进步。
Based on the analysis of facing the opportunities and challenges of China＇s sustainable development, ~e paper explains that scientific and technological innovation is the driving force for sustainable development and an important way for universities to promote sustainable development. The author focuses on four aspects of driving effect about universities to promote sustainable development including in providing knowledge and technical support, basic research theory, innovative talents and demonstration experience, and thinks universities should researoh and develop sustainable new technology and knowledge to better promote economic development and social progress.
