On Culvert Foundation Design in Municipal Engineering

任何水利和土木建筑结构物,都必须建造在地层上,市政工程中涵洞基础是结构物直接与地层接触的最下部分,基础受到各种荷载后其本身将产生附加应力和变形。为保证结构物的正常使用和安全,涵洞基础必须有足够的强度和稳定性,其变形也应在容许范围之内。

Any water conservancy and civil engineering and construction structures must be constructed .in the formation. The culverts foundation in the municipal engineering is the lowermost part which structures directly contact with the formation, and the foundation itself will generate additional stress and deformation after suffered the various loads. In order to ensure the normal use and safety of the structures, culvert foundation must have sufficient strength and stability, its deformation should be within the allowable range.
