The locally-featured snacks in Zhaotong City of Yunnan contain rich local catering cultural connotations. The article attempts to probe into the methods of translating the locally-featured snacks in Zhaotong City by drawing on ＂Skills of Chinese-English Translation for Chinese Menu＂ from the perspective of cultural translation concept. The author holds that translation of the locally-featured snacks in Zhaotong City calls for correct transmission of the menu information as well as that of the local cultural information implied in the locally-featured snacks.
