汉语流散型与英语聚集型——以《兰亭序集》及其英译为例

Chinese Diffusiveness and English Compactness——With Introduction to Anthology in Orchid Pavilion and its English Version as a Case

汉语流散型和英语聚集型是汉英对比研究的一个重要特质。本文以此为翻译理据,采用不同的翻译策略,尝试对具有典型流散型结构的王羲之代表作《兰亭集序》进行英译,并讨论、分析这两种不同模式的有机转换。

The diffusiveness in Chinese and compactness in English are one of the important qualities in contrastive studies of Chinese and English. Under the help of several translation strategies, this paper translated Introduction to Anthology in Orchid Pavilion - the typical works of Wang Xi - zhi characterized by diffusiveness into English. More- over, it discussed and analysed the mutual transmission of these two modes.
