Language learning and acquisition are two approaches to a language. Learning should go before acquisition for second language learners, because what you have learnt helps you not only to acquire a second language, but also to speak it fluently on the basis of accuracy. In the second language teaching at college level, adequate attention should be paid to the overall planning and the overall arrangement of learning and acquisition so that the best effectiveness of teaching can be achieved.
