Rethinking of the Important Historical Issues of the Restoration Society——A Case Study of The Memoirs of Ruizhi

尹锐志作于1943年的《锐志回忆录》前后颠倒,上下混淆,移花接木,褒己贬人,用心良苦。在锐进学社命名、捉拿黎元洪、策反上海军警界、进攻南京、组织光复军,乃至对光复会宗旨、会长的叙述上多有不实之处,与历史事实大相径庭,根本不能视为正史。受《锐志回忆录》误导的论著,对尹锐志的溢美过誉之词应当予以纠正。

The Memoirs ofRuizhi, written by Yin Ruizhi in 1943, was not only preposterous and confusing, but also full of fraud and slander. The book was written to serve the author＇s specific purpose. The narration of the book goes contradictory to many historical facts, such as the naming of the Rui Jin Society, catching Li Yuanhong, instigating rebellion of Shanghai police, attacking Nanjing, organizing the Recovery Army, and the purpose of the Restoration Society and its president. The Memoirs of Ruizhi should not be regarded as an authorized history book, and those academic books and papers misguided by The Memoirs of Ruizhi and too many compliments to Yin Ruizhi should be redressed.
