摘要
基于虚拟现实的协作设计系统为跨部门、跨地域、跨时区的产品协作设计提供了一个直观、方便的交流平台,可有效缩短产品的设计周期.系统可在PC机上运行,采用VRML、EAI和Java作为系统主干.VRCE支持多视角、多层次的信息交流,采用开放式的系统结构,便于进一步开发.作为一个应用实例,还讨论了游戏操控杆的协作设计.
A Virtual Reality - based Collaboraive Design System is propoed to taluce the pnduct - de-sign life cycle. The system supports corporation between departments or geographically distributed organi-zations. Design problems and key elements of the system, such as multiple visual viewpoints and multiple informaion layers are discussed. A joystick design system, which is a Java and VRML based virtual en-vironment with collaborative visualization, is developed by using EAI to demonstrate Ihe feasibility of the proposed system.
