This paper introduces the idea of program design of Chinese character display on dot matrix LCD in detail, and presents the Chinese character display program of the dot matrix figure LCD ACM12864D which is based on single chip PIC16C65. And on the basis of practice, a simple method is also given to get the Chinese character dot matrix data. The programs have been applied successfully in self made communication test meters,which shows some practical value.
