摘要
一位51岁的老年女性因近8个月出现的难以耐受的潮热及夜间盗汗就诊于她的家庭医生。她目前仍有性生活并已停经5个月。她已服用了一些非处方药（OTC）但无明显效果。她很担忧在工作中出现潮热症状，睡眠受到干扰也令她感到疲惫。她希望得到控制这些症状的医疗建议。
