摘要
提出了一种在虚拟环境中利用不同的视觉敏锐度公式进行自适应渲染的新方法。给出了亮度视觉的敏锐度因子计算公式 ,并在Ohshima算法基础上提出了根据视觉敏锐度因子求解视觉敏锐度的 5种公式 ,系统可根据主机负载情况自适应地选择这些求解视觉敏锐度的公式 ,并据此选择将要渲染的细节度模型。当视觉敏锐度较低时 ,选择较简单的层次模型 ;视觉敏锐度较高时 ,选择较复杂的层次模型。最后 ,通过实验对这种方法进行了检验 ,证明此方法是可行的。
A new method of adaptable rendering for interactin g in Virtual Environment (VE) through the use of different visual acuity equatio ns is proposed. An acuity factor equation of luminance vision is given. Five equations which calculate the visual acuity through vis ual acuity factors are presented. The VE system may selects one of them on the basis of the ho st’s load, and hereby selects a model of level of detail which would be rendere d. A simpler level of detail is selected where the visual acuity is lower, and a more complicated level is used where it is higher. This method is tested throug h experiments and the experimental results show that it is effective.
