Information Building a Bridge for Disseminating TCM culture overseas——A Report of Visiting the United States

概述"美国UCLA结合医学信息中心"中美合作项目的建立背景。通过作者亲身到美国UCLA参与该项目的建设,以及中心项目进展情况的介绍,从而分析信息工作在中医药文化海外传播过程中所起的重要作用。UCLA东西结合医学信息中心作为东西方医学沟通平台,通过传播中医药文化,对促进中医药国际化发展具有重要意义。

This paper summarized the background of building UCLA Information Center for Integrative East-West Medicine, which is a cooperation project between China and the United States. Through personally participating in the project in the United States and introducing the progress of the project, the aathor analyzed the important role of the information work playing on Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） culture dissemination overseas. UCLA Information Center for Integrative East-West Medicine serves as a communication platform for eastern and western medicine, it disseminates TCM culture for promoting the development of internationalization of TCM.
