Taking the steel structure workshops of Zhuzhou Smelter Group as the research object, the paper refers to the selection principle for the controlling indexes of steel structure workshops, and selects easily operated controlling indexes which reflect the safety of the workshops, so as to have the stability and safety control over the steel structure workshops.
