The paper introduces the traditional construction models for the coal preparation plants, points out the application of EPC general con- tracting model and BOT general contracting model based on the limitation for the traditional models, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two models respectively, and points out the development tendency for the construction model, so as to have the direction for the selection for the construction models for the engineering programs.
