摘要
讨论了在半导体激光器泵浦的环形激光器中 ,利用声光调制器 ( AOM)实现单纵模单向环行运行的机理 ,认为由于衍射光的多普勒频移而导致了行波腔中激光的单向运转 ,并进一步提出对 AOM不仅可以用角度调整还可以应用声频调整法以达到单向运转目的的新见解 .以 Nd:YAG为增益介质 ,在4 0 0 m W的泵浦功率下 ,获得了 2 0 m W连续单频激光输出 ;采用激光预激射技术 ,获得重复率为 30 0 0Hz、脉宽 50 ns、能量 4μJ/ Pulse的单频调
The mechanism for the single\|axial\|mode operation of the diode\|pumped unidirectional ring lasers using acousto\|optic modulation(AOM) is discussed.We explain the effect in terms of the Doppler shift of the diffractive light beam,which foree the unidirectional single\|axial\|mode operation of ring laser.A new method of adjusting the AOM through changing the frequency of the sound wave as well as changing the angle of the AOM is presented.When the Nd:YAG is used as the gain medium,20 mW CW single\|frequency output is produced for 400 mW of pump power.With pre\|laser technology,3000Hz repetition\|rate,4μJ/Pulse output energy,50ns pulse width,single\|frequency Q\|switched pulses have been obtained.
