朱自清抒情散文英译中字词美质信息再现

On Aesthetic Representation at Lexical Level in English Versions of Zhu Ziqing’ s Lyric Prose

刘宓庆先生提出文学作品在字词层面的美质信息应以"准美精"为标准,试以朱自清的抒情散文名篇《荷塘月色》《背影》《匆匆》及其张培基、朱纯深、杨宪益夫妇和由外语教学与研究出版社与中国文学出版社联合出版的英译本为语料,采用描述和分析对比的方法,探索译文在字词层面如何再现原文的"准美精"。

Mr. LiuMiqing proposed the criteria of ＂appropriateness, beauty, compactness＂ at lexical level in literary works. Adopting the approaches of description, analysis and comparison, the paper explores how to represent ＂appropriateness, beauty, compactness＂ at lexical level of the original in English versions, taking Zhu Ziqing＇ s renowned lyric prose The Moonlight over the Lotus Pond, The Sight of Father＇ s Back and Transient Days, as well as their different English versions translated by Zhang Peiji, Zhu Chunshen, Yang Hsien - yi ＆ Gladys Yang and published jointly by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and Chinese Literature Press （FLTRP ＆ CLP ） as exemplary materials.
