The Interference of Affective Factors in English Teaching of Big Classes

在英语学习过程中,情感因素等对外语学习的影响和作用不可忽视。然而,随着近年来英语大班教学日渐成为国内高校英语教学的趋势,情感因素被逐渐弱化甚至忽略了。从人本主义心理学及意义学习理论的角度看,认知和情感在英语学习中同等重要,相互促进,缺一不可。在具体的英语大班教学中,研究情感因素在教师、学生和教材三个方面的介入将对学习效果有事半功倍的作用。

During the English learning process, the effects of affective factors on English learning can not be ignored. However, with the gradual popularity of English teaching in big classes, affective factors are weakened and even neglected. This paper aims to make an exploration to its effects in the English teaching in big classes from the perspective of humanistic psychology.
