By studying the data and literature about Zheng Hers voyages to the western seas, this arti- cle analyzes the application and innovation of marine technology in his voyage. Furthermore, his main achievement and sprit are summed up. With the demand of in^ormationization-based warfare on naval cadets, it is necessary to carry forward Zheng Hers spirit to cultivate naval cadets＇ navigation quali- ties.
