中国现当代美术馆艺术品收藏的现状与艺术史书写和美术馆本身的发展历史息息相关,相对于传统的博物馆以藏品及其保存、研究为主体的博物馆学,中国现当代美术馆自诞生之日就已经处于全球艺术史书写、机构运作、展览制作方式转变更新之时。
In modern and contemporary art museums in China there is a close relationship between their collections,the writing of art history,and the museums’ own history.In contrast to traditional museums where museum studies-the preservation and study of items in the collection-is the main activity,Chinese modern and contemporary art museums were set up during a period of radical worldwide reforms in art history,institutional operation,and exhibition-making methods.
