ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is one of the modulation and demodulation techniques. Using the wideband capacity in copper twisted pair cable,high speed data can be transmitted on the subscriber line. ADSL technology and its applications in campus-wide network systems are discussed in this paper.
