颜师古《汉书注》音系韵类开合口和重纽二题

On Opening-Closing-Mouth (开合口) and Chongniu (重纽) of Phonological Rhymes in Annotations to Han Shu (汉书注) by Yan Shigu

通过对颜师古《汉书注》音切声韵分别系联后考察师古韵类开合口和重纽的性质,认为师古音切韵类开合关系相当一致,唇音字不分开合;师古音切喉牙唇音重纽韵在反切下字上无对应关系,不能用师古的反切下字定被切字属于寅A类或寅B类重纽韵字。

After conducting a contrastive study on Fanqie （反切）, a traditional method of indicating the pronuncia- tion of a Chinese character by using two other Chinese characters, and sounds including initial consonants and sim- ple or compound vowels in Annotations to Han Shu （汉书注） by Yan Shigu, the paper examines the nature of O- pening-Closing-Mouth（开合口） and Chongniu （重纽） of phonological rhymes that imitated ancient models. It is argued that the Opening-Closing-Mouth （ 开合口 ） relationship on phonological rhymes that imitated ancient models is fairly consistent, and that labial words do not differentiate between opening and closing mouths. Besides, the Chongniu （重纽） vowels of laryngeal, labial, and dentilabial rhymes that imitated ancient models do not have cor- relations in terms of the second character of Fanqie （反切）, and we should not use the second character of Fanqie （反切） of ancient models to differentiate the Chongniu （重纽） category of scheduled characters.
