Objective:Our aim was to investigate the viruses interaction in HBV and HCV superinfection and its clinic feature. Methods:Sera viral markers of 30 patients with HBV and HCV supeninfection were tested using ELISA method. HBV DNA and HCV RNA were detected using PCR method. Results:Compared with these of the patients with HBV or HCV single infection, the positive rates of HBeAg, HBV DNA, and HCV RNA in patients with superinfection were lower. The positive rate of anti HBe was higher. The average titers of HBsAg, anti HBV IgG, and anti HCV were significantly lower. For some patients, HBsAg was negative. The quantity of TBil and the ratio of AST/ALT were higher in superinfection than those in single infection, specially in the anti HBe positive group. Conclusion: Interference existed between HBV and HCV. Liver demage was more serious in superinfection than that in single infection. Positive anti HBe in superinfection did not mean the recovery from the disease.
