Development of"Virtual China Jiliang University"

本文利用虚拟现实技术,以虚拟现实建模语言(VRML)为软件平台,选择3DS Max为几何建模工具,实现了对"虚拟中国计量学院"的开发。这既有助于提升大学形象,也展现了虚拟现实技术在教育领域的应用潜力。该系统扩展功能后还可应用于更多的教育领域,如虚拟实验室、虚拟教学等方面。

Taking Virtual reality modeling language （VRML） as software platform, 3DS Max as geometrical modeling tool. this paper develops ＂Virtual China Jiliang University＂ in virtual environment. This opens a new way of showing the images of the universities, and shows the application potentials of virtual reality technology. The system developed in this paper can be used in fields such as virtual classroom, virtual labor＆tory, remote education, etc. after expansion in functions.
