Interpreting the Life Characteristics in "Qi"

中国传统生命观,将"气"视为生命体的有机要素,"气"概念与生命现象之间有着不解之缘,文章从分析"气"字字形及字义入手,以多个与"气"字有关的汉字及其所蕴含的意义为参照,从文字学的角度探寻中国传统生命观中"气"概念的生命性特征。

＂ Qi＂ is the organic element in the Chinese traditional view of the life. The concept of ＂Qi＂ and life phenomenon is closely related. This paper analyses the structure and mean- ing of the Chinese character ＂Qi＂ ,comparing with several other Chinese characters which having relations with ＂Qi＂ ,so as to explore the life characteristics in ＂Qi＂ with Chinese philology.
