The Theoretical Orientation, Core Issue and Approach Selection:On the Indigenization of Social Conflict Theory in China

西方社会冲突理论在我国的应用,需要一个本土化的过程。本文探讨了社会冲突理论本土化的理论取向、核心议题与本土化路径等基本问题。社会冲突理论的两大理论传统都有自身的局限性,我国的社会冲突研究需要树立分析、批判兼顾的理论取向。社会冲突理论本土化的核心议题是增进冲突理论在中国社会的应用,包括解释、规范冲突现象,化冲突为社会革新和进步的动力等。从中国经验中总结和发现具有中国本土特色的冲突理论是社会冲突理论本土化的必然路径,只有建构起具有强大解释力的本土冲突理论体系,才能真正实现社会冲突理论的本土化。

Social conflict theory needs an indigenization process in China. The paper discussed the theoretical orientation, core issue and approach selection of the indigenization of social conflict theory. The two traditions in social conflict theory have limitation, so the social conflict researches in China need a theoretical orientation both covering analysis and criticism. The core issue of the indigenization of social conflict theory is to promote the application in China. The researches in China show that the conflict theory with Chinese native characteristics is the necessary approach for the indigenization of social conflict theory. Only establish native conflict theory system with strong explanation can realize the indigenization of social conflict theory.
