Mixture material design includes the selection of aggregate type,the determination of maximum particle size of aggregate,the determination of aggregate gradation,the determination of asphalt type and asphalt content.On the basis of making clear all levels function of the road surface,it is very important to design the mixture composition which can meet the functional requirements of the asphalt concrete surface layer.
