Linking Education with Clinical Practice

长久以来,医学教育的重点在于教学内容。然而,最近几十年,教学场所对本科和研究生医学教育也具有越来越重要的意义。医学教育模式的改变与医疗实践的变化密切相关,而后者又受疾病人口学特征改变、技术及医疗投入缩减的影响。

In medical education the focus of learning has been predicated on the quality of the content.However,over the past few decades the importance of where the learning occurs(the context of that learning) has become relevant from both an undergraduate and postgraduate perspective.These changes in educational paradigms are also intimately linked to changes in medical practice,which have been driven by changing disease and illness demographics,the impact of technology and the shrinking health dollar.
