The South Dongting locates in the transitional zones between south and north culture,not only shared by the central plains culture,but also reflects the characteristics of chu culture,cultural resources in here is rich and diverse.The mountain lands,hills,plains spread along with the change of terrain,mountains and water dependencies and become the most prestigious natural resources.The South Dongting should strive to develop tourism under the big background of emphasizing develop the characteristic economy.This article proceed from three levels to thinking about the development of South Dongting＇s tourism,that＇s tourism resources condition,developing situation and adopt measures to develop characteristic economy.
