The article introduces the problems in the process of design and operation of urban gas pipeline; it summarizes the practical improving measures through discussing the problems noticed in the gas design process of high-rise buildings and meters of industrial ＆ commercial users and through analyzing the phenomena of water blocking and inaccuracy of industrial ＆ commercial users in gas operation.
