摘要
以红麻秆芯为原料,分别采用草酸钾与碳酸钾为活化剂制备了不同活化剂/原料浸渍比(R)因素下的系列活性炭.通过碘和亚甲基蓝吸附值测试、N2吸附-脱附等温线和FT-IR分析等表征活性炭的性能,探讨了草酸钾活化剂制备活性炭的作用机理.结果显示,草酸钾活化法所制备的红麻秆芯活性炭具有更优异的性能,且浸渍比R对草酸钾活化法所制备的红麻秆芯活性炭的吸附性能和孔结构参数的影响更显著.本研究表明草酸钾是一种潜在的优良化学活化剂.
Activated carbons were prepared from kenaf by chemical activation under N2 atmosphere with different impregnation ratios(R) of potassium oxalate or potassium carbonate.Properties of the resulting activated carbons were characterized by N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms at 77 K and FT-IR,together with iodine and methylene blue adsorption tests.The activation mechanism derived from potassium oxalate was also discussed.The results appear that the adsorbent prepared by potassium oxalate activation provides superior performances to that activated by potassium carbonate.Moreover,it was found that the impregnation ratio R has a more remarkable influence on the properties of potassium oxalate activated sample.This study shows that potassium oxalate can be expected as a new promising chemical activator.
