高校图书馆服务社会是必要的,应该从八个方面开展相关服务:基础服务、流动图书馆与各类地方图书馆协作、高校馆与地方政府或社区或企业共建、信息咨询服务、网络信息服务、代理信息资源服务、协助和参与社会化的会议与培训及活动等。

It is necessary for university libraries to serve the community.In this paper the author raises eight focal theoretical and practical issues including basic service,mobile library in collaboration with various local libraries,co-construction with local government,community or enterprise,information consulting service,information deputy service,assistance and participation in conferences and trainings hosted by social organization.
