An Outline of Modern Chinese Design History

简要介绍了中国近代设计史的研究现状;分析了中国近代设计史研究的可能性、必要性、价值、意义、使用的方法和应该注意的问题;罗列了中国近代设计的各项内容,强调了必须将机械(机器)设计摆放在第一的研究位置;阐述了中国近代设计具有图强的意识和奋勉的意识。

This article briefly introduces the research status of the history of Chinese modern design and discusses the possibility of the research as well as its necessity,value,significance,methods and problems to which attention should be paid.Besides,the article lists the various contents in modern design in China and emphasizes that Mechanical（Machine） Design must be placed in the first position of the research.Lastly,it proposes that Chinese modern design should always go with an awareness to work hard and strengthen the country.
