This paper briefly describes the connotation of sustainable development capacity of vocational students and the need for vocational students to develop their capacity for sustainable development,drawn to the ability of students to sustainable development of the core is to improve students＇ general ability.Mathematical modeling activities have an irreplaceable role to improve students＇ general ability,and they are effective carriers for colleges and universities to improve students＇ general ability.
