摘要
为充分发挥光导纤维在半透明复合材料应用中的成本效应,有必要探索和开发替代材料,以替代玻璃或聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯纤维,从而有效地降低成本。亚琛工业大学纺织技术研究所(ITA)利用商业化的聚合物,通过熔纺-水淬冷的方法制造出高光学透过率的单丝,并分析了该纤维的特性,主要研究了该纤维的光学性质及测试方法。
For a cost-effective application of optical fibers in translucent composite materials, it is necessary to explore alternative materials. Cost reduction is only possible if substitutes for glass or PMMA can be found. ITA has the possibility of manufacturing commodity-polymer based monofilaments with increased light-transmission capabilities due to water quenching of melt-spun fibers. Furthermore, the characteristics of these fibers will be analyzed. This paper will focus on optical properties and the way these measurements are carried out.
