《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)英语水平考试类目探讨

Discussion on the Category of the English Proficiency Test in Chinese Library Classification(5th Edition)

目前英语水平考试的名目繁多、题型不同,专论主题文献多种多样。利用《中国图书馆分类法》(以下简称《中图法》)(第5版)对英语考试类文献归类时存在以下问题与困惑:归类不符合《中图法》(第5版)列类的基本原则,部分专论主题无类可入,主题分散归类致使读者查找不方便。因此,应该通过突出"考试"目标、集中归类、对类号进行组配、对专论主题单独列类等方法修改及完善英语水平考试类相关类目,以更好地突出其科学性及实用性。

At present, items of the English proficiency test have many varieties, and the type of the English proficiency test is various, so monograph literatures are also many and varied. There are some problems and confusions in classifying literatures of the category of the English proficiency test in Chinese Library Classification（CLC） （5th edition）, such as the classification does not conform to the basic principle of the category setting in CLC（5th edition）; some monographs couldn＇t be classified into any category; some themes are classified dispersedly so that it isn＇t convenient for reader＇s retrieval. Therefore, we should revise and perfect relative categodes of the English proficiency test through outstanding the target of test, classifying categories intensively, coordinating the class number and setting up separate categories for monographs, in order to stress the scientificalness and practicability of the subject.
