Based on the developing example of the interface design and intelligence display module which is the most important part of the monitoring and alarming system, the paper introduces in detail how to use Tilcon for development and application under the VxWorks system. It analyses the structure of Tilcon 5.8 and the framework in application. The key problems such as the method of displaying dynamic Chinese characters and common debugging method under the VxWorks are emphasized. At last, the paper gives the practical meaning of the system which used the intelligence display module
