摘要
阅读能力是语言综合运用能力的重要体现，也是《普通高中英语课程标准（实验）》要求培养学生的语言基本技能之一。拳文分析了2008—2012年间江苏省高考英语阅读理解试题，发现试题具备如下特点：阅读词汇量大，强调阅读速度；题材体裁多样，强调语篇结构；题目设计重全局，强调深层理解。笔者建议教师关注学生阅读速度的提高，阅读材料的选择以及阅读思维能力深度的挖掘。
Reading ability, as one of the basic skills of language, reflects the overall language competence. On the basis of the analysis of the reading comprehension of the English college entrance examination of Jiangsu from 2008 to 2012, the authors argue that all the reading articles in the papers emphasize the reading speed, the divemity of themes and genres and also the depth of reading. Teachers should focus on the improvement of students＇ reading speed and thinking ability as well as pay more attention to the choice of reading materials so that students can be aware of these characteristics, which helps to improve their reading level.
