This paper summarizes the nursing care of 42 patients with huge mandibular cystic lesion treated by decompression and negative pressure suction. The key points in nursing were careful preoperative preparations,intensive postoperative care,proper guidance on the rinse of cyst and wear of obstructer,maintaining effective and eontinuous drainage with negative pressure. All the patients completed the whole process of treatment without postoperative complications.
