Taking Root in Community:A New Direction of Science Education Reform in Rural America

摘要 美国农村科学教育存在着课程内容与教学方式落后,经费不足,设施老化及教师短缺等问题。对此,美国各州、相关研究机构及学者探索并实施了多种应对方案及改革措施。而植根于社区能够为农村的科学教育提供多方面的支持、提升科学教育质量并促进农村社区发展,因而成为美国农村科学教育改革的新路向。 To solve the problems of rural America science education in backwardness of curriculum content and teaching method, insufficient funds, degrading of facilities and shortage of teachers, the States of US, related research institutions and scholars have explored and implemented various strategies and reform measures. Among them, the rural science education rooted in community which may provide various support for rural area, improve the scientific quality of education and promote the development of the rural community is becoming the new approach to the reform for rural America science education.
